How exciting camo'ed cars in motion.
Atleast the V8's get 6sp trannys.

It was funny when the Holden security guard asked the "spies" what they were doing... they're answer "at the moment? we're ummmmm" guess the didn't think that one through. lol

That was a cool spy video. I wonder if the Opel Commodore will also be available with the 6.0 liter V8 too? I look forward to this car coming to Scandinavia.

Re: Sprung: Holden's VE Commodore Caught On Video
JoeT, I like that you're a GMI Staff member; you do well in representing the Aussie side of the General's Kingdom. Your posts always seem like a treasure. This post is no exception. Thanks.
Toby from Drive.Com.AU seems to present nicely the new Commodore, though for some reason I thought it looked smaller than the current generation (he suggests it's dimensionally larger, including its weight). Toby's criticisms-the current, decade's old generation is tired; the unfortunate nature of the added weight in the new model; and the unfortunate fact that the V-6 iteration of the next generation will sport a tired 4-speed tranny-seem appropriate, as do his praises. Tell me, JoeT, is Auto.Drive.AU reasonable in its reviews? This quick clip suggests it is. |
