GMInisdenews has obtained an image of the (what is believed) 2007 Holden Commodore. The new car will be based on GM's Zeta platform. Although work on the North American Zeta cars was halted to speed-up the arrival of the very-profitable GMT-900 trucks and SUV's, development of the platform continued at GM's Australian subsidiary.

While the Commodore will not be reaching North American soil, a Zeta-based car(s) will be. Styling and driving characteristics will likely resemble that of the vehicle pictured in the spy shots. North America will not be the only other continent to receive Zeta cars- the Middle East will as well, since they sell a Chevrolet version of the Commodore there known as the Caprice.

Looks good to. More aggressive than the Current GTO. Can't wait to see it!!

That looks extremely camoed! The camo makes it look like a prius or something.

Stupid camo makes it look like a car based Aztek.

Headlights look very sharp, and they are deffinatly hiding some serious fender flares.

I have family in Aus. that work for Holden.
They claim the Monaro/GTO was not the best they had.

Dont be so sure. Most of that is foam blocks under the...well...neoprene it looks like. I guess they wanted to put it in the a scuba suit.

IT is hard to tell with all that camo but I think this car is going to be SWEET!

This is the current Commodore SS. You can see the similarities of the headlights/grill with the spy photo.
