Re: HSV E Series 2 range spied!!!!!

is it even certain that these are real pictures just not photoshops???

HSV got so much positive feedback from people and journos alike with the new E-Series because they threw away the tacky boy racer add ons and had a much more progressive and flowing design. This looks like they are trying to bring back a bit of Pontiacs styling thunder in light of its death.

I was hoping for headlight and tailight cluster alterations, but i do like the exhaust through the rear bumper arrangment, very clean, i think i like the big oval dual exhaust setup better than the current quad setup. I like the LED driving lights, very nice, im fond of the alloys and the rear vents aren't too bad in all honesty. haha i can see this as growing on me. Can't wait to see it in person

Really looking forward to seeing some interior shots

Re: HSV E Series 2 range spied!!!!!

aww and anyone elsfind it strange they gave the W427 spec brakes to the Senator Signature and left th GTS hanging??

seems odd they'd give a super halo brake package to their non sport model. And another thing....vey keen to see the Senators upgrade.

Can't say I'm overly impressed. It looks like HSV grabbed a bunch of left over cladding from a Pontiac fire sale.

My concern is the whole front bumper/grille design is way too close to FG falcons, have to be blind not to see the detail similarities.

i'm hoping the black on the Wagon's front is a photoshop, coz in person that would look just wrong. You don't pain black inserts if there's no real line or crease in the bumper to follow!!!

apparently the Senator won't be recieving the G8 hood, so maybe they get bigger upgrades somewhere else?

Man they seem to have made a mess of the sportwagon, Pontiac looks really dont go down well with me. The black on the front bumper looks like someone accidently spilt some paint and tried to cover up the mistake by painting even more of it . I think I'd rather a Holden SS-V sportwagon if this is the real deal. Lets pray its a Vauxhall version (if thats possible) or anything other than a HSV!!!

Given the way the backgrounds are in the pics i.e. blurred out etc... I am assuming they are an artists interpretation of the information they have... if real I am pretty underwhelmed... 3/4 is ++1, the front is -10 for me.

Re: HSV E Series 2 range spied!!!!!

My criticism would be, the whole great thing about VE's proportions was the short overhang, its hard to tell exactly but this looks like a long front

Re: HSV E Series 2 range spied!!!!!

i think a lot of the styling cues in the front end have been taken from the new Astra/Isignia models.... maybe pushing for more export opportunities?

OK, I'll be the first to say I really like the sedan (hate the wagon). I find the current CLubsports a bit boring.

Re: HSV E Series 2 range spied!!!!!

Must be an optical illusion (either that or the VB) but does the sedan A pillar appear slimmer than usual?

i think its just an illusion... heres comparison of the new spy pics and the first spy pics of the first E Series 1 range.

the E2 spyshots aren't real. They are photoshopped impressions. The E1 spyshots are real leaked phtos however
