Interesting. I really like Holden. GM is not going to sell them. Doing that would be an act of pure stupidity.

They can't sell them... we are depending on the Zeta platform for our future real-wheel drive cars! Sell some other one if you have to... I like Saab but I would see that as the first to go rather than Holden....

I agree with you. It doesn't make sense for GM to sell Holden. To much
is riding on the Zeta platform development.

Now with the truck tariff down for Down Under, I wish they would send us 10k Ute SS's with LS2's for a nice price of 27k.

Bring them over now. The new El Camino. It would be a big seller. Beat the Japanese to the punch. The El Camino is the kind of vehicle Chevy needs now. Give the Crewman AWD (like down under) and it would replace alot of pickups in American driveways.

Re: Holden Unleashes Thunder Ute & Crewman

I really don't understand why GM hadn't sent those over here years ago as an El Camino. They've already lost a lot of sales as this would sell like hot cakes!

Seriously GM what are you thinking, get them over here NOW!!!

Re: Holden Unleashes Thunder Ute & Crewman

I agree that selling Holden would be a bad idea, they are at least profitable. The Ute would have made sense a long time ago as an El Camino, for sure, though I doubt it would have sold in huge numbers, it would have been good for the bottom line.

I sure wish I could buy a crewman now. GM is nuts to only sell them in Australia.

I really don't like these vehicles (FUGLY car-trucks), I hope they never sell them in the US again.

Heck yeah! I would LOVE a Crewman! To me it would be the ideal blend of great handling, awesome fit/finish, comfort, with no utility penalty like I suffer now with the GTO. I'll take mine with the 3.6 & AWD, please.

I don't think they'd be big sellers here in the US, however, especially in their current form.
