We're traveling into Sydney next weekend and i'll probably find one there to test drive
So far though the cruze looks light years ahead of other cars in the same price class

Very well done Holden

Welcome mate. What will you be replacing if you get the Cruze?

P.S. Nice ute. It's getting harder and harder to find a 5 Litre 5 speed these days. Is yours a manual?

I wanted a manual but couldn't get one in good nick

However i found this S pak with cruise, power windows and only just over 100k on the clock last year.

Very neat and tidy with just very minor chips in the paint

It's got a redback cat back exhaust and pacemaker extractors

for that nice note.

The wife has a VS sedan which she wants to trade in on the cruze

I'd love a VE sedan in a manual but they just don't make one unless i get a SV6 or an SS

I bet there would be a market for a base model manual but what the hell do i know

Base model sportwagon for say around 37k would be awesome!!!

I'd think that 3.0 litre SIDI 6 with a six speed manual would be a sweet, smooth ride

Just like my old VL 5 speed

Re: Holden Cruze CDX & CD Diesel Review

Yeah I knew one guy who went through 3 VL 5 speed wagons. I know that 2 were the same colour, not sure about the 3rd, but that's a pretty good testament to hitting the mark.

Yes there has always been a market for this but it is very small and when they killed the Manual Exec a few years ago the reason given was that it cannot be justified financially by Holden. The reason is that Holden need to do complete engineering validation for each model they build and they have spent a lot of time removing these complexities a few years back.
Better to wait for an ex demo SV6 with low km's?
