Absolutely stunning. So futuristic - immediately makes other wagons look dated.

The wagons look amazing from the back in real life. It just looks extra wide and tough, it's probably the best looking VE model from the back. The worst looking would the Maloo from the same angle.

This and the CTS Sportwagon and the Insignia Sport Tourer have to be the best wagons in production today...too bad we only get one of them.

What a fantastic read, with a "Wait, there's MORE???" at the end.

Good review Mik. I am not a fan of the wagon shape but the VE wagon looks well proportioned! Is it based on the LWB VE platform?

Nice work Mikmak ! I am very jealous. I am seriously considering an SV6 wagon.

Duck, this wagon is the first one NOT based on the LWB platform since the HK in the late 60's. As such, it handles as well if not better than the sedan. The decision was made that if this was a 'sport' wagon, it should put form somewhat over function. I reckon it does OK at both.

Maybe some, certainly not Mazda6, in fact i think the Mazda6 wagon makes the Sportwagon look dated (only ever so slightly tho).

Great review - ashame the Berlina Sportwagon is Aussie only.

Re: GMI Review: Holden Berlina Sportwagon 3.0 SIDI (Part 1)

I saw a Sportswagon that was in Atomic Metallic (metallic bright green). It also had Chev badges on it and it just looked superb. Unfortunately i was going the other way so no photos but I will keep my eyes out.
Your new wheels look great Mick(I know you are going to buy one now you have experienced it!). Enjoy them.
