Re: 'VETTE & WILD: Mean, green Z06 goes from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds on less ga

Overall I think it was a good review. 0-60 in 3.7 seconds sounds more than fast to me. I've heard of a few people who ran a stock Z06 from 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds. You can imagine how fast the ZR1 will run from 0-60.... It all depends on how you use the clutch. Anyway, nice car and the best performance car in the world in my opinion. Corvette FTW.

Or it could be both...lexus sux and the Z06 is definitely green for what punch it gives.

I disagree. One should be able to buy any car they can afford. If an auto maker produces it and it's certified to use on U.S. streets, there should be no limitations.
...even Brittany Spears?

I'll agree, the z06 is a great deal for the performance and efficiency it delivers, though I would love to see a similar type of review for a c6 z51 which I believe is the best deal of all.

436hp, 430+ lb-ft, 0-60 in 4 sec flat (only 0.3 more than the z06, still hella fast for the price), z06-like handling with the z51 package, and even better mpg for just under $50k

A ZO6 CAN get high MPG, but not for rookies. My 95 Impala still gets 24.5 mpg, but here in cali and the fuel they offer at the pump, I am VERY lucky to get 21mpg. Stickin hippies and thier wants for fuel blends. LS1 can and will doe high mpg on cruise at 70 mph.
