Discuss this story in the forum at CarTalkCanada Few would have suspected that GM would produce a small, relatively affordable roadster to take on the likes of Mazda's vaunted Miata. Fewer still would have believed General Motors would do so with a purpose-built rear-drive chassis, while preserving - nearly completely intact - the styling of a concept car.

That car is just fantastic.
Like a mini-me Corvette.
And for around $30K loaded, unbeatable.

There's no other vehicle on the road from any other manufacturer that even comes close to what this vehicle has.

Incredible. Simply, breathtakingly, a homerun for GM.
