It had the 6spd auto, power top, nav. A lot of money? perhaps, but considering the content, maybe not!

nice. the price really isnt that outrageous. you would be hard-pressed to find another car with those specs and price.

Re: Test Drive: 2006 Corvette Convertible 6spd AUTO

Very nice, semi-fluffy review. That's a lot of coin for a regular Corvette, although as 91 s-10baja said, it pretty much has everything you can put into one of them. For $62-$65k, I'd rather have a base Z06, even if you can't open the top in those.

The power convertible top didn't look like it moved very gracefully - it seemed a little jerky. It's still nice that they are offering it as an option now, though.

Maybe, but they'll sell.

Light Pewter Metallic, Camel leather trim interior, M6, Hurst short-throw shifter, TCS.
One of five WS.6 models built with the combination of pewter exterior paint and camel trim interior. This combo was not an available option; the dealer had to override the restriction.

I can't wait to get ahold of my cousins Lemans Blue 06 coupe. He's only gotten it up to 172mph. I gotta see if I can do better

Corvette's have always been expensive though out the years. Doesn't matter when you bought a new one. I would expect no less....they are worth it.
