Why did this particular car have to fail mechanically on a journalist's test drive? Geeze, of all the crap luck.

The reviewer laments not having a backup mechanism, in case of a "No Fob Detected" message, similar to what other companies offer. Like the C6 and XLR, the STS does have a slot in which to slide the fob in case of a weak signal. On the STS, it's in the center console.

Well I think he did a fine job of presenting the car even with the amount of space he put into the key-fob thing. Any thoughts on why the dealer didn't know about the slot Ghrank? Is it just a new addition, or been there all along? Seems odd that they (or OnStar) couldn't tell him that. I wasn't sure there'd be a positive review of the V6... but this sounds good!
