[Now you're LYING about what I said! I said that Holden Zeta Commodore/Pontiac G8 is a GM Car but G8 is an American car. Get your facts straight and stop hating. seriously, its annoying
If you said the facelifted Holden Commodore, produced and designed in Australia, was being sold as a Pontiac G8 in the US a model specific to North America, that would be correct.

I get your point that you don't like the rebadge in your own market but I'm pretty sure the rest of the planet can make their own minds up. Is there any GMNA car exported to as many markets as the Commodore and its derivatives?
Seems Holdens are a stop gap for alot of people, or perhaps that is the primary role for a global platform.

That is the type of attitude that led to things like the last Grand Am.

Can people with no taste, please just stop trying to give design opinions.

Am I going to pay over MSRP for any car? Not at this point in my life - no money to throw away!!! Waiting for the right time to buy at this point. Unless I happen across a 77-78 T/A before then
Well I bought my Bonnie SSEi right after the body change in 2000, but it was a demo vehicle with 5,000 miles on it, so I got it at a significant discount (I remember the dealer not being to happy with my haggling). Still, it was nearly double the cost of your SE, but it was the little differences that made it so fun - the HUD, the memory seats, mirrors, radio, etc., the air compresor built in the trunk, etc. etc. -- and of course the supercharged engine.

Funny, I love those model years of T/A's too, especially in black and gold with a big screaming chicken on the hood!

The only reason it is getting "spectacular" reviews is b/c it is the exact same car as the Holden Commodore(save for the brand & model badging), which I would suspect has gotten its share of "spectacular" reviews as well.
Esp. since the Commodore is the original & genuine model. The G8 is not a true Pontiac. So for me & others that share the same opinion as I, its worthless. As far as it being replaced, It should be. And w/a hellava better exterior. The exterior is fine for Holden, but not for Pontiac or anywhere else in the world.
Hahahahahaha....ah man, your living in lala land son, but that's you opinion and no matter how stupid it is, we must respect it.
