Re: 2008 Chevrolet Corvette/ Quick Drive

Damn I want one of these BAD. Maybe I didn't understand the review, but is he saying that the $1200 exhaust option is for the 2 valve actuator crap that's quiet half the time or is it for the extra 6 hp, 4 lb-ft, or both?

I must say I'd be tempted to just buy the base exhaust and swap it right out for some 40 series or super 44's that stay on all the time

Re: 2008 Chevrolet Corvette/ Quick Drive

$1200 for both - butterfly valves and 6 hp.

For about the same price you can get a Borla exhaust.

I agree, my bud put a corsa on his CTSV and that is why my standard 3.6 CTS has a V exhaust!

If you get NPP performance exhaust, you can plug in a simple actuator ("Mild to Wild") that works with an extra factory garage door opener button (or a remote control button) to leave the flap open all the time and not just at higher engine speeds.

Re: 2008 Chevrolet Corvette/ Quick Drive

This guy should be a manager at a Subway sandwich shop. How, in the hell, did he get THAT job? It is very evident he does not know crap about cars, and especially Corvettes, so he gets online and "reviews" them. It would be like me doing "reviews" of ladies shoes.

Only dorks care about the stupid removable top, and only dumbasses would eat chocolate in a Vette.

I have the Billy boat route 66's with AR headers on my modded C6. Sounds pretty good.
