Re: SEMA: Mazda

If Mazda would get rid of that stupid goofy smile on the front end, they would actually have a pretty nice looking car.

Ok, so they put some minor graphics on them and a scoop on the hatch...

Re: SEMA: Mazda

Mazda did a fairly nice job on the new 3. I'm still trying to get used to the grin on the front end though. The old 2.3 pulled pretty hard for a 4 banger, so I'm sure the 2.5 will be nice. I read that they finally went to a spin on oil filter too and got rid of that silly cartridge type in the previous car.

If you made the license plate all white with a line down the middle it would look like two teeth. Kind of like a Asian relative of Mater, the tow truck from the Cars movie.

If Mazda would change the front end it would have a great looking car.

Re: SEMA: Mazda

I've always thought the undiscovered country in auto styling was more 'patterns' in paint schemes - rather than just solid with stripes. I've seen a few concept cars that tried it, but this seems to be a nice compromise.

I agree. Mazda has always had decent styling for a Japanese company, but that new front bumper looks really bizarre.

Re: SEMA: Mazda

Get rid of that nasty big-mouth bass grin that it has and you have yourself a wonderfully styled car that looks better than nearly any other car out there on the road

Re: SEMA: Mazda

Every time I see one drive down the road I laugh. They really should make the Mazdaspeed AWD and in the 4 door.

They look good, much better than the bright colored, blinged out crap I saw in the other pictures.
