The silverado front end was definitely unexpected.

I'm with you, I love the current suburban but this is a little over the top for me. The front end looks too large, like you said, and I don't like the huge wheel flares either. I'd rather have the current front end and smaller flares like GM has typically used on HD trucks in the past.

The smaller fuel efficient diesel is what I want.

I only see this SUV on a construction site. I don't really like how much it looks like a Durango with those wheel wells. I like the way the current Suburban is. And that other guy is right, you don't see many Expeditions on the road, but you see a lot of the new Suburbans.

How do you get a Durango out of that??

DRW though......that'd be something to see on that beast!

That would make sense. I'm willing to bet that the 4.5L and 6L90 would be a PERFECT fit for the Suburban...and Tahoe.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that!

Re: SEMA: Chevrolet Suburban HD Z71 Diesel

With the Silvy front on this, to me it brings back the days of a tough, rugged Suburban instead of the soccer-mom mobile that it is today. The front end actually looks better on this (and Tahoe) than it does the trucks. Great job! Except those fender flares...

Looks very good. It looks very muscular. GM needs to get this truck to the market.

I'd buy it if they ever released it.

This is one mean looking rig... GM would probably sell tons of them.. The 4.5L Diesel sounds interesting.
