I am not much into the stripe. If those rims were Black Face and Chrome Dish that would be hot IMO.

Such a nice car, but this version is cheezy. The wheels are obnoxious. Did the fat white guys at GM conduct market research by watching Cribs on MTV? Brilliant strategy fellas! Way to aim high! Genius actually. It makes me really want to buy this car and park it safely on the street! Pffft!!

yeah, who wants to attract and sell to young people who can't wait to get a g8 of their own!

get over the wheels people! and stop showing how ignorant you are by assuming that 50 cent only had input into the rims. if Chip Foose's name was on the car or Boyd coddington (both i might add, rarely if ever do any vehicle with rims smaller than 20" theses days) nobody would be whining.

if i had a dollar for every young teen through 30+ male chomping at the bit for a new g8 (most of the ones i know, completely unaware of the car till the saw it in 50 cent's last few videos) I'd be rich! i don't mind a little nostalgia, but if you refuse to miss the obvious cultural and styling desires of the young, than you deserve to have your product languish on lots while your customer base dies out.

20"+ rims have been out for almost 10 years now. they come standard on some station wagons and trucks! good lord it's 2007 people!

Not too crazy with the choice of rims, but the car looks great!

Re: SEMA: 50 Cent LS7 Pontiac G8 Unique Automotive Edition

The car looks sweet, I think that the rims are 2 inches too big though, seems like most of you agree with me.

I don't really care for 50, he's got a few good songs, i'm more of a hyphy/crunk/underground guy.

Jedi Mind Tricks anyone?

The best thing about "gangsta" rappers is that they love american cars, especially classics. Sure they have their Lambos or Bentlys but they still have a 64 Impala right next to it.

Ford, Chev, whatever ya got
Don't mean s***, s*** ain't hot
(I roll so out of control, windows got tint so i'm not exposed)
Lincoln, Caddy, whatever ya got
Push it man, don't be scared to squat
(At the red light I can't wait to race, I swear this match is tailor made)

Re: SEMA: 50 Cent LS7 Pontiac G8 Unique Automotive Edition

(insert sarcastic clapping here)

What a complete waste of a G8. Wow, a black stripe. The rims are completely wrong for the car. The only decent thing is the engine upgrade.

yea, that's right.... I'm hatin' on him.

That stripe is actually the pontiac logo stretched out. It starts out at a point on the front and flares back on the roof.

And styling wise they did not touch much of the actual G8. Just rims & paint. Wheels can be anything anyone likes. The rest of the car looks pretty clean. Should be a good seller when it hits the market.

That's the worst thing you could do to a brand new G8.
