Can't you read? Toyota decided to do this, so they gave a truck (and instructions) to their "partners". This abomination is 100% Toyota's fault.

Re: SEMA 09: Toyota Tundra Hot Rod

Posers.

Toyota for putting it on the SEMA floor.
The builder for putting their name on it.
The buyer. Double poser if they take it to a Goodguys show.
and many of you know it will be there with a bunch of glad-handing Yota freaks who join concours guys snobbing the true Rat-Rods.

I was at a Goodguys event and walking around the Rat Rods and there was this really old guy talking with the young, punked out, tatted up kids. He had a cane, oxygen hose, bag and looked really frail. Turns out he was an old Hot Rodder from back in the day. That made the event for me. More so than the group of retired bankers debating the proper tissue dispenser for their garage queen '57s.

Nice spin on words, almost worked. They supplied the truck "to prove that it could be done", do you think that Toyota had a say in how the truck made into this .

It's quite clear.
Pure and simple.
You're a wannabe hater.

Personal attacks won't work, and if you think I'm brown nosing you, you're wrong. Put the Kool-Aid down, read before you type

Your sole contribution to this thread is to attack others.
Your sole retort is that others cannot read when you are owned.
Totally.
Completely.
Absolutely.
In full public view.
By lio45.
Toyota clearly wanted this abomination.
(which was quite humorous, a concept you apparently do not grasp)

And this is your quisling response?

Why don't you better spend your time creating your own threads?
At another site less enlightened, more conducive to your brand of half-truths and distortions?
Where you can bask in your quisling glory?
And you don't need to insult and demean others in every alternate post?

Ever considered that? Just maybe?
I'm really trying to help you here man.

Re: SEMA 09: Toyota Tundra Hot Rod

Yawn, total jibberish. Toyota donated a truck to prove if it could be done, what part of that do you not understand .

Let me guess, you think that everything GM had at SEMA was great

Once again, take off the blinders and don't read every other word. I said this truck looked awful...guess you missed that one

Calm down.
Just calm down damnit.
I'm trying to help you man.

It's not my fault if what I write is beyond your comprehension.
Let's bring it to a level you can understand, with bullets.
  • Read what lio45 wrote.
  • Go back and rtfa.
  • Toyota was the instigator.
  • Toyota wanted this to happen.
  • What part of that do you not understand?
  • Try to increase your vocabulary beyond blinders and rolleyes icons.
  • Unclench
  • Don't take it personally when people insult your baby.
  • That's what we're trying to tell you.

Re: SEMA 09: Toyota Tundra Hot Rod

^^Who said it was my baby? Once again putting words in my mouth to fit your personal agenda. How do you know if I even like my truck? Can you even comprend that I said the truck looks awful?

As for the quote you are refering to, Toyota didn't decide to do this. They supplied the vehicle to see if another company could transform it into an "American Hot Rod". They did something allright, unless you can prove that Toyota gave the blueprints to this outside contractor to build this exact truck, you are wrong....again!
