Re: SEMA 08: Pontiac G8 GXP Street Concept
I understand that this is a concept... thank goodness. They have used the grille from a Pontiac Wave (G3 or whatever) + a lower grille from a massive GMC truck. Not a good look, though I do like the rims and the power under the hood.

Re: SEMA 08: Pontiac G8 GXP Street Concept
I can't find anything online to dispute this or to say the G8 concept has something different, but the GM videos I've seen of the LSX454 shows the engine has a CARBURETOR! Haha, thats right, no fuel injection here, just old school GM V8 power!
A new rear-wheel drive, 454ci V8-powered GM sedan with a carburetor. I love it! What decade is it??

that car is very cool, 638 horsepower
I would love if Pontiac built these for a year as kinda a special edition. |

Re: SEMA 08: Pontiac G8 GXP Street Concept
The LSX is a Gen IV engine, so putting an EFI system on it would be very easy.

Re: SEMA 08: Pontiac G8 GXP Street Concept
I agree. Made the grille too small and the lower chin looks like someone stole the bumper. The G8 has one of the greatest Pontiac faces ever -- don't mess with it!!

Re: SEMA 08: Pontiac G8 GXP Street Concept
Funny, those 2 things are what make me want it even more. Even if this was a new fascia & set of wheels for the LS3 GXP, I'd still want it more. Please GM, let this be an option we can order from the accesories catalog!
