Re: Paris Preview: four-door Lamborghini Estoque unofficially revealed!

Erm...that does not scream "Lamborghini" to me...It's okay, but, something about it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm surprised that very few know about Lamborghini's history. I thought everyone knew they started out with tractors and trucks.

By the way, that Charger concept is really nice! I forgot about that car.

Quote:
The Lamborghini Estoque is a concept car built by Lamborghini. It is a four-door sedan that was introduced at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The Estoque is the first front-engine vehicle by Lamborghini since the LM002 utility vehicle.[citation needed]

Despite being classed as a concept car, the Estoque is being seriously considered for production.. It currently houses a 5.2 litre V10 engine, although there has been speculation that this could be replaced by a V12, V8, or possibly even a hybrid engine (as suggested by Lamborghini's Brand Director, Manfred Fitzgerald)

As with other Lamborghinis, the Estoque derives its name from bullfighting. An estoque is a type of sword traditionally used by matadors.
