Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain
Looks like a Toyota Sienna in the rear. Nevertheless, doesn't look too bad.
Doesn't the Chevy Equinox fill this role? You mean they have to release another derivative of the vehicle? I don't get it. Too many brands with diluted products. Looks like GM is still up to its old tricks...even with Bankruptcy looming in the headquarters.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain
I have to say that I like it. At first I was kind of iffy about it, but it has grown on me. GM did a great job of differentiating them. I think the Nox and Terrain will appeal to different buyers. The Terrain will appeal to buyers who want a tough, truck looking crossover, and the Nox will appeal to buyers who want a more civilized looking crossover.

Not digging the Toyota Sienna taillights, nor the massive amount of chrome around the grill. But too bad nevertheless.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain
The Equinox does not fill the role of having a small CUV to sell at Pontiac/Buick/GMC dealers, no. That is why the Terrain is here. If GM sold all of its cars at consolidated dealer, it probably wouldn't exist. It is replacing the Torrent, because the Torrent didn't fit in Pontiac's model line-up.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain
I like the interior. GM has gone a long way the past few years in that regard and this is an example of that IMO. Also has a good drivetrain which will attract buyers.
As for the exterior.... what the heck is with those big humpy fender flares? Makes it look like a Hummer wanna be. Cut them in half or make them look more integrated into the body rather than a bad add on. Other than that I like the rest of the body. |

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain
After seeing the new unit-body Grand Cherokee, I think GM should just go ahead and keep this Terrain for themselves and not burden dealers with another weak selling, watered down product.

I'll have to agree with you on the 2011 Cherokee. It looks stunning and is packed with quite a few neat little toys. Always amazed with what Jeep does with the Cherokee.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain
OMFG!
The back window is just a coincidence. The back door windows are not alike. The Cutlass has it slanted, the SL2 has it straight. [quote=drew630;1699124] ![]() [quote=drew630;1699124] ![]() Quote:
