Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

For the exterior I think the oversize wheel arches and the deep front grill lose it for me, the front might be improved if they had some form of lower vent area to break up the bland color... maybe just a two tone paint setup?

The interior doesn't look too bad, though the angle of the one interior photo probsbly doesnt really help with that.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

But srsly- take that huge crome wing off the top of the grille, smooth out the front end's corners, fix those fenders, and you got it.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

My only gripe is with the horrid wheel arch things, but otherwise I think it's a nice and relatively unique looking car. As usual with new GM cars, the interior is fabulous.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

Just when I thought it was all over, I saw the square fenders.

This car blows my mind.

GM’s first application of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology is used on 2.4L-equipped models. ANC uses microphones to detect booming sounds inside the vehicle and sends counteracting sound waves through the audio system’s speakers, ensuring a quiet driving experience at almost all vehicle speeds.
Now that is pretty interesting.

Ehh...it's not too bad. I'd buy it. Design language fits in with the rest of GMC's lineup.

STANDARD rear view camera? Whoa...

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

the interior looks awesome, the rear looks decent and the wheel arches (though a tad too big) can look great once they are tweaked. I just wonder what went horribly wrong when they made the front of this vehicle. it's nice that they are using some of the graphyites styling cues but it ends up looking to squarish and tacky maybe if they rounded it out more then it would look much better

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

I love the front end and side shots as well as the interior. I feel like the taillights are a huuuuggeee let down compared to the rest of the vehicle however.

Its a sweet ride compared to the Griswald's station wagon.... but it is fugly and dated looking.

Park it next a new Chevy Impala and you could convince people they time travelled back to the late 1980's.

One thing that stuck me about the interior was that it looks more like the traverse's than the Acadia's.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

I like it. The interior is great looking. I like the standard equipment and the options that it comes with. The headlights do look similar to the old Honda Pilot and the taillights look similar to the 05 Toyota Sienna minivan.
