Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

Here is a picture of a GMC Terrain and the Caddy SRX. I have drawn colored lines to show all of the simularities between the two to prove sthat the GMC is really the Caddy SRX with a mid-model life cycle update. GM has to stop this shameful re-badgering of autos. No division should share any parts what so ever or have any similarities. Each division should be its own company with no ties to the others. Spin them all off into separate companies.

They delay the Orlando then have the money to produce this turd?
GMC shouldn't have small CUVs in its lineup.

GM, WTF are you doing?

You ARE kidding, right?
Both have headlights...check!
Both have sheet metal between the headlights and grille....check!
Both have windows....check!
Both have fog lights....check!
Both have mirrors....check!

How did you ever pick up on that?

Good job GM!
I digested it. Now I have the trots.

Most people cant tell the difference between a BOF SUV and the Acadia/Terrain. To them if it looks like an SUV, is big like an SUV.....

The Terrain looks like a mini Escalade.
thats what chevy is for. gmc is supposed to be rugged and trucky.

as for the styling....
the protruding fog lights look downright weird and the chrome mirror on the grille just dont look good, imo. the side looks good though, i like the truckiness.

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

I'll have to see it in person to be sure, but I'm leaning towards NOT liking it. The worst part is the indent above the wheel arches that make them look worse than they already are and the flat doors between the wheel arches that look like they were pulled from a different vehicle and don't really fit.

Of course no rear center head rest again for my 3rd child. Thanks GM.

I like it! I like the Equinox's styling more, but it's about time GMC gets more distinctive styling.

Um, no. These are not similarly-designed vehicles.

This will never be confused for a SRX, unless of course people's search for similarities start and end with, "Well, they've both got four tires and a steering wheel."

Re: NYIAS 09: 2010 GMC Terrain

Can you say angular?

I like how modern SUVs have this off-road-useful road clearance. Just add some bodykit and you'll have a GMC Zamboni.

It was absolutely crucial to develop and launch that ahead of the Aveo replacement.

In four years, watch this be replaced by a Buick version called the Everest.
