Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but a nickname for utes in Oz is "uterus". Yeah, I've decided, let's all vote uterus.

This is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen GM + Pontiac do, I mean besides the Torrent GXP, G5, All the Grand Prix Special Editions, Aztek. We do no need this vehicle. Period.

Re: NYIAS 08: 2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck
According to the initial press release, they are pulling an SSR with this -- automatic only. So, I filled out the "comment" thingy on Pontiac.com, and this is the response I got:

I have all ways wanted an El Camino but looking at the pics @ http://www.evolutionendshere.com.au it just dose not look right with the center counsel. I hope that the bench would be an option, I just could not justify spending that much money on a daily driver that I couldn't at least cram my family in if I had to. |

Re: NYIAS 08: 2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck
Commander and Alpha are already taken by Jeep and Hummer. Those are perfect for a 400 horsepower truck.
As far as animals....Goat (I don't think everyone will get it) is okay for a truck. I also think that the Aussie Toyota Highlander name, Kluger, is a cool word for a truck (or a weapon). Since Pontiac is an indian name, then let's go with Apache or something. I think El Camino would be a great name for this truck if it were a Chevy...the marketing will be covered by the name of the vehicle (unlike SSR, which sounds like a sports package to some other Chevrolet).
