Not bad, but it doesn't do anything for me. it looks bland and uninspireing.

No Way!!! The dip in the rear quater window is one of the cool unique features of the Genesis Coupe. Its a fairly insignificant feature, but its one of my favorite things about it!

I like the dip also, and it probably helps rear vision. I definately like the front-end, body crease, and headlights in the after photo much better.

I was refering more to the front end, I like MonaroSS's front end style better. The one on the Genesis is pretty weird. I'll have to wait and see it in person though to tell for sure.

I actually like the dip too. But I changed it as a job lot of all the things people were complaining about. I'd do the other changes but keep the dip.

I see what your saying, when I looked at it the first time I didnt notice anything else but the q/t window being straitened out. But now I notice the whole thing, and I do also prefer Monaros chop, well all except for the q/t window.

I give Hyundai credit for trying, but I'm just not feeling the styling. It's not bad but nothing stands out. It's more bland than anything else, like '93 Buick Lesabre bland. Not ugly, but not a looker.

Re: NYIAS 08: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Hi, haven't posted here in weeks, but here's the specs:

GENESIS COUPE SPECIFICATIONS
Configuration: Front engine, rear-wheel drive
Wheelbase: 2820 mm / 111.0 inches
Overall length: 4630 mm / 182.3 inches
Overall width: 1865 mm / 73.4 inches
Overall height: 1380 mm / 54.3 inches
Wheels: 18-inch or 19-inch five-spoke
Engine types: 3.8-liter V6 or 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo
Est. horsepower V6: 306 @ 6,000 rpm (regular fuel)
Est. horsepower V6: 310 @ 6,000 rpm (premium fuel)
Est. torque V6: 263 lb. ft. @ 4,700 rpm (regular and premium fuel)
Est. horsepower 2.0t: 212 @ 6,000 rpm (regular fuel)
Est. horsepower 2.0t: 223 @ 6,000 rpm (premium fuel)
Est. torque 2.0t: 217 lb. ft. @ 2,500 rpm (regular and premium fuel)
Block & head materials: aluminum for both engines
Valvetrain: DOHC for both engines
Valve timing: continuously variable valve timing for both engines (Dual for 2.0t)
Estimated 0-60 mph V6: under 6 seconds
Transmission types: 6-speed manual, 5-speed automatic (4-cylinder) or 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic (V6)
Front brakes: 12.6-inch (standard) 13.4-inch (Brembo package)
Rear brakes: 12.4-inch (standard) 13.0-inch (Brembo package)
Front calipers: single piston floating (standard), monobloc four-piston (Brembo package)
Rear calipers: single piston floating (standard) monobloc four-piston (Brembo package)
Limited slip differential (Optional)
Est. top speed: 149 mph (V6), 137 mph (2.0t)
Base curb weight: 3549 lbs. (V6); 3439 lbs. (4-cylinder)

Those are the specs, supposedly will start at 19-20K. It's a damn good deal with the base engine, but the V6.....not so impressive (starts at 25-26k area).

And I'm surprised no one has mentioned the push button start on the car, while most of you guys will cry to no end about it on the Camaro.

$20K?! That's cheap! I didn't think it'd be priced so low given the Genesis name. Thought Hyundai wanted it to be a bit more upmarket.

Umm... no... yuck! And to think... I was excited to see the official thing. Now that I see it, I... don't even know what to say. Hyundai's Aztek - tried WAY to hard.
