I don't care what you think or feel. I'm happy it's coming here as a GM product and it could be named the Saab Turdbucket and I'd buy it. You are getting far too caught up in brand managing to see what a helluva vehicle this is. Too many people get caught up in the minutiae (sp.) of a vehicle and it's positioning and forget to see it for what it actually is. I find it sad, your loss my gain. Besides this thread is about the G8 GXP anyway.
I agree. Let's get back on topic. So what does everyone think the G8 GXP will sell for? My guess is $3000-$5,000 over the G8 GT, only because of the LS3 engine (and a probable upgrade of the tranny to make it stronger). I wonder if they'll rename the LS3 because its HP will be less than the Corvette's? Anyway, I expect it will blow the doors off the G8 GT.

Re: NYIAS 08: 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP!

Car looks really good, much better than B.S.MW, but how will this sell in the middle of ballooning gas prices?

In terms of the car's cost, I paid around $27K for a fully loaded Pontiac Grand Prix GT 5 years ago. GXP will probably be in the 38G territory.
