NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
The Raider pickup, which goes on sale next fall, is a version of the redesigned Dodge Dakota, which debuted this month as a 2005 model. The top-of-the-line Raider is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 making 230 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque. Sources say the entry-level truck likely will be equipped with Dodge's 3.7-liter V6, which can produce 210 hp.

Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
i like the front end.
|
Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
How could you possibly like that front end?
|
Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
I like everything except the front clip. Love the interior. The interior is alittle better then the Tacoma.

Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
If the grill were color keyed like the body (or dark grey plastic) I'd like it more. Overall I like it quite a bit better than the Dakota.

Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
2005 Dakota = Fugly 2006 Raider = Fuglier VW Ragster Concept = Fugliest by a lot 'Nuff said.

Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
I smell Dodge inside
|
Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
I think they forgot parts of the grille. Mitsubishi earns their position at the bottom of the automotive food chain with that goofy face they put on everything. The new Eclipse is the prettiest, but this truck is weak.

Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
Foreign automakers are so behind domestic in trucks I don't know why they even try... Terrible. How would you like to be seen pulling a trailer in that! eek.
|
Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
thisa truck wont make any sales records, but I want this to suceed as much as I want Toyota and Honda to FAIL
|
Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
I wish they would've atleast changed the steering wheel...
|
Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
I like it more than the Dakota on which it's based, but the cutlines on the front end don't seem to be well thought out. Looks almost broken.

Re: NAIAS Coverage: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider
Mitsibushi has a lot of making up to do. their Mighty Max was a disaster for Teenagers everywhere.
This looks like it is a step in the right direction though... nice, clean design with nothing too outrageous! |
