The interior is nice, the exterior is pretty bland if you sit it next to a fusion.

Re: NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry

It looks like they were creating a Lexus but quit 1/4 the way through.

Bland, uninspired and just plain weird.

It's still a Camry, and there will be millions on the road all looking the same with the same blue hairs behind the wheel.

If you go to the toyota website and the new camry page you'll see the interior at night which is really cool.

Re: NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry

Did anyone read the equipment levels? Standard 7 airbags and antilock brakes on all models. Standard on the XLE: Reclining rear seats, Bluetooth, dual-zone automatic climate control, 440-watt sound system.

Options include a full hybrid system, 268hp V6 (with 31mpg hwy), 6-speed automatic, stability control, DVD navigation, pushbutton start, remote start that automatically starts the car as you approach it....

GM has its work cut out for it.

Re: NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry

I do like the interior, as long as it is without the wood trim. The exterior is recognizable as a Camry, though looks like some Lexus styling cues have been added and it didnt work out very well.

Looks like they did a pretty good job, except for the Corolla looking nose. I do like the interior.

Re: NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry

that interior is way better than Malibu. GM has a problem.
Better than Honda too

An update from the current Camry. But it looks allot like the Avalon.

Re: NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry

The center stack echos the theme of the new LS and GS. (GS pictured)

Yet the Camry has better color combinations, silver instead of black.

http://clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195187
Every part of the car has been improved, minus the styling (subjective of course). Unless the Ford Trio, and the Impala sales go up double digits in 07, the Camry may reach 500,000.
The next Accord/Mailbu have to blow it's doors off the get considered from consumers in 2008.
