The 2010 SRX features numerous advanced electronic systems. Highlights include a “pop-up” navigation screen with three-dimensional imaging; adaptive forward lighting that swivels the headlamps in synch with vehicle steering; power liftgate with adjustable height setting; integrated hard disc drive for audio storage and a dual-screen system for rear entertainment.

I would like to say once again tho that I think it's effin GORGEOUS.. and should be a true success compared to the current one in the sales ball game. I hope that it proves to be as STELLAR a performer as it as well....

I like the design of the new SRX, especially the ass-end. It kind of sucks that it's smaller than the old SRX and that we couldn't have a CTS-based model, but I like what this new SRX has to offer. The interior looks really stunning too, and I especially like the polygonal vent designs.

That Electronic Limited Slip Differential looks like some pretty advanced stuff that ranks right up there with Honda's SH-AWD and Nissan's ATTESA-ETS systems. I'd like to see Cadillac use a similar system for RWD-based platforms as well, or even trickle this system down to high-performance versions of the Epsilon and Delta platforms.

I don't think you are one, but certain people have been saying how Cadillacs needed to look more alike. Well, they're getting what they asked for.

IMO, this would've looked better had they blended the a&s thing with the Sixteen's curves, and not put that plastic crap all over it to make it look more car-like.

Looks a bit smaller than the current SRX. That interior makes me feel happy, too. Which is an odd reaction. I usually go "oooh...cooool..." or "eh..."...but this interior, it just makes me feel happy inside.

Also, considering the Lexus RX is the best selling luxury vehicle in the US, it's not a bad thing to go after. People are crazy for those things.

I wouldn't call the new SRX's interior too dull or over styled. That's a live reveal picture up there and it screams "QUALITY"!

This goes against what Cadillac should stand for. Competing with the RX 350 or the MDX is not a good way forward - even if this appears to be the better vehicle.

GM could build a Cadillac that ran on oxygen pulled from the surrounding air, had every option you could possibly want including a coffee maker, and mgescuro still wouldn't be happy.

Pretty much, I called most of everything. Engine lineups... FWD... and a number of other things.

If Cadillac wants to go for volume, this is probably the car to do it with. However, don't expect prestige or sophistication or luxury image to be helped along by this car. It's simply a car that SHOULD NOT exist in the Cadillac lineup. It's a big mistake. If Cadillac wanted a FWD luxury CUV, then by all means, give it to Buick.

Like I've always said, Cadillac needs to be RWD and concentrate on luxury and sophistication. What we have here is nothing more than an Acura with a Cadillac wreath and crest.

This SRX proves one thing... Cadillac has ZERO focus as to what the brand is and should be. And I actually don't believe this car will sell well or up to expectations. There are better styled, more sophisticated FWD CUV's on the road. Put this thing next to an RX Pebble Beach Edition... and you'll see why the SRX will not be taken seriously.



Really? It's sharing the platform with a Saab. It's going to have a turbo engine somewhere in the lineup.
GM would be smart to continue the proliferation of turbo engines across the global lineup -- especially in North America -- to tell you the truth.

Oh please!!!! What's the matter, are you just upset because GM is designing their Cadillacs with interiors and exteriors that either matches or exceeds the build quality and design of their competition such as BMW, Lexus, Audi, and Merecedes?????? I think you are. GM has Cadillac in the right direction and they can't stop here. They have to "keep pushing the envelope" as Mr. Bob Lutz stated many times.

In the end you and other people that have some kind of "GRUDGE" against GM's vehicles can bash them as much as you want but it won't stop the fact that the Cadillac division as well as other vehicles from GM are having a design and engineering resurgence and that can't be denied.
