NAIAS 08: VW Passat CC

The Volkswagen Passat CC is a sedan with the long, curved roofline of a coupe. VW plans to launch in the Passat CC in Europe this summer, and in the United States late this year.

Looks pretty good. I like the lines. The front end does look a bit wide though.

So much better than the awkward looking version they have on the US Market right now. In fact its the first good looking VW with their new design language. I'm not a fan of the new Jetta or Golf (i'm sorry Rabbit). Almost has a CLS vibe to the rear... I like.

"Hans, shouldn't ve be designing zees car fur Audi?"

"Nein, ze Americans vant an even more overpriced Passat."

It's "eyes" are too widely spaced and the back is ugly. The interior looks really nice if a little bland.

Re: NAIAS 08: VW Passat CC

Looks very nice, but I do not like the bin in the middle of the back seat. If they wanted to put a console, put one, not just a hunk of metal which makes the middle totally useless. Otherwise I love it, much nicer than my wife's Passat.

Nice looking. First REALLY nice looking VW I've ever seen. Far better than it has looked the last few years.

Looks bigger though.

Re: NAIAS 08: VW Passat CC

Opel's GTC looks much better.
Why would VW want to go into Audi's market?
That just leaves room for Saturn-Saab to undercut and take sales.
