Re: NAIAS Merc Vision GLK Freeside
I like it, but I don't love it. It is a bit too boxy. If anything, it should be less boxy than the ML. That would create a flow between their trucks - the bigger, the boxier, as the ML-Class is less boxy than the GL-Class, which is less boxy than the G-Class.

Just what the world needs. A Mercedes version of the Subaru FORRESTER.
This appears to be designed by the same people that did the Chrysler Sebring.

Re: NAIAS Merc Vision GLK Freeside
Looks like they took a C-Class and stretched it upward into a tall wagon. Hmmm

I was thinking Subaru too, maybe a bit like a Toyota but definitely more Subaru.

Re: NAIAS 08: Mercedes Vision GLK Freeside
I was thinking.... it looks awful. I don't care what it looks like it just looks awful.
Somebody will buy it because of the symbol on the front. If it did not have that, I wonder what the sales of it would be. |

Re: NAIAS 08: Mercedes Vision GLK Freeside
First thing I thought was "I thought it was Toyota that took over GM's share at Subie?"
Wow, thats a Forester combined with GL got this....

Re: NAIAS 08: Mercedes Vision GLK Freeside
When I saw it at NAIAS though it may have a couple Forester styling cues, but it doesn't look as much like it as they do in photos
