Re: NAIAS 08: Mazda Furai
I don't know about those, but I'm sure that those rear wheel (wings? I don't know what to call them) have absolutely no aerodynamic function at all. In fact, they'll probably increase the drag coefficient.

Re: NAIAS 08: Mazda Furai
Some of what I'm seeing looks like a 12 year old thought it up, but I've got to stop typing and think about this one. Aside from that though, it's gorgeous. Where are the Mazda lovers that bombard this site? It's probably the coolest Japanese car ever imagined and it will own the ZR-1 when it comes to press in a couple weeks based on looks alone (sorry I didn't read much about it yet... I presume it's coming). It could be powered by a lawnmower engine and I would still want one. Congrats Mazda--that's the first thing you've ever built that's ever appealed to me.

Re: NAIAS 08: Mazda Furai
I really do like the new design trends through the late concepts of Mazda. Now only if they can reproduce this greatness in their products and marketing. They haven't been seeing ALL that much success in the showroom, despite their great products such as the Mazda 3 and CX-9.
