Re: NAIAS 08: HUMMER HX Concept

Nice! Too bad by the time it comes to market I will probably have already bought the Wrangler Unlimited!

Badass though...I like how everything comes off/apart (except the B Pillar).

I like it, looks military-ish. A turbodiesel six with 300+lb-ft would be appropriate.

Re: NAIAS 08: HUMMER HX Concept

GMC & Hummer are too similar in style and features.I'm talking about about something stylish,Rounder, curvier, more tech features and less off road capabilities.

Re: NAIAS 08: HUMMER HX Concept

In production form I would guess that it would have to have a roll bar similar to the Wrangler's. That would mean a conventional square backlight and not that sloped one. The slanted back reminds me too much of the Aztek. This is a cool looking concept. A production version woudl be cool if they kept the price in line with the Wrangler.

cool concept and a possible contender for the jeep grand Cherokee but the windshield is a tad over the top

Re: NAIAS 08: HUMMER HX Concept

I have always LOVED Jeep Wranglers, and this concept is just incredible. Outstanding. The slope back does not make any sense to me, but....

I do hope they price it right. I admit, whenever I get in a new Jeep Wrangler, I am always baffeled at how they charge so much for one. I mean, look at everything. Archaic as hell. Very basic. I think it should sell for around $13,000. I get out and see the window sticker and freak that they are asking $25,000. Oh well.....

Bring it. Don't wait until the show is over. Don't bother with advanced press and movies. Don't bother with focus groups. Bring it NOW.

It wasn't built for it, they're not supposed to flex.

That concept looks like a shortened updated M1114. Nice
