Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept
I kinda doubt it. Both the Acadia and Outlook have been selling pretty well around my area. What's more, this thing looks so bland and useless that anybody who's considering buying one has to be crazy.

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept
So, they expect this to go up against the likes of the Outlook, Acadia, and Enclave? Good thing they have loyal buyers otherwise no-one would buy this thing.

Also, I cannot tell if there is much room in the third row from the pictures. Before purchasing the Outlook, I made sure there was room for me back there (6'1"). |

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept
They know it will sell despite it's looks so why should Honda put forth any extra effort design wise. To me I cant even say it's...meh.

I agree!
Love or hate the CR-V looks...at least the CR-V "reaches" a little bit... This Pilot concept is borrrring....

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept
The concept is actually more coherent looking than the current model. The Pilot has never hid the fact its based on the Ody very well (whereas the MDX does it better).

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept
Exactly. I think this is extremely ugly and would not sell, but the CR-V and Camry have proved me wrong. It makes me think that Toyota and Honda put a hypnotizing device in their vehicles, ordering them to buy another Toyota or Honda.

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept
Wow, honda is really losing their way when it comes to design and style! Much like toyota!
It seems like the American companies are taking the lead when it come to design/style! |
