They made the profile look like a Nitro or Jeep Liberty!

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept

Are Honda and Ford exchanging ideas? That looks very Ford Explorer America concept to me.

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept

This concept looks like something from 5-6 years ago. The headlights have a slightly modern touch as do the taillights but the rest of the vehicle looks dated. This surprises me coming from Honda, their newer vehicles might not be my taste but they do look very modern.

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept

Sure did'nt take any risks with this one did they? The only interesting things to me are the headlamp assemblies. With the CX-9 and Enclave selling so well, you'd think Honda would get a clue. I predict sales will fall.

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept

Looks like Honda took my 2002 Explorer and made it a more slab sided, bland vehicle. They will sell 400,000 a year.

Wow, hate to say it but I like the original one better. Just when I thought Honda smartened up on the looks of that thing....they go and do this!

I am sure with that flat face it will get class leading fuel economy.
If it does, Coca Cola called they want some tin cans back.

Re: NAIAS 08: Honda Pilot Concept

I was really expecting something else. The civic was cool. The accord had more flavor than the last, even though it looks like a hyundai. But this?? WTFH??

Whoa look...they slapped a new grille onto a 2005 pilot and called it a concept...

Then again, the current Pilot struck me as an ugly and awkward looking SUV and it sold well.

Don't ever overestimate the buying public when there's a Toyota or Honda emblem on the hood.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was "oh god."

It's a horrible looking car, boring and ugly at the same time.
