Re: NAIAS 08: Ford Verve Concept

That's nice looking. Thankfully it doesn't have that tri-bar grill they are slathering all over their products. It looks nice on the Fusion and Edge, but that's about it. I don't think I've seen a single "new" Focus on the road yet.

They bring this thing to market though, and I think that they could have a hit on their hands, like the original Focus was. Before they neglected it.

Awesome car. Best interpretation of the 3 bar grill yet.

I agree...the G6 should be a lot bigger though. The Verve looks more of a Focus replacement.
To Ford: PLEASE. PLEASE REPLACE THE FOCUS.

God no, its too jelly bean like for the G6. The G6 needs to take inspiration from the G8 only.

Re: NAIAS 08: Ford Verve Concept

Very nice. It looks better than the 3, which really is saying something.

Now if only we can get Chevy to give the Cobalt a well-deserved update...and get Ford to update the Fusion to look like the Mondeo.

Re: NAIAS 08: Ford Verve Concept

Hate to say it.... but I like it! I would buy this car right now if the exterior was 100% production, just the interior is obviously not production. Now if only there was a way to actually tell Ford that this is hot.

I second those both along with making the Focus looking like this!

Re: NAIAS 08: Ford Verve Concept

Finally we'll see some Mondeo styling here!! Man, that's one helluva car. Ford is going to kick some serious ass in the next 5 years if they can deliver on cars like this.....

Re: NAIAS 08: Ford Verve Concept

I think it's an improvement, but the "bubbly" style (especially in the profile/rearview mirrors) to me screams 1999 Taurus.

Re: NAIAS 08: Ford Verve Concept

That is the most impressive small car I have ever seen, truly stunning. Will this car replace the Focus or complement it? I think they should also sell a 5 door version for added utility.
