The only selectiveness going on here is in your court sir, not mine.

Did i jump the gun a little? sorry.
My point is GMI is full of inflamatory posts and you choose to be selective about the ones you highlight, sir.

As to why people like pony cars...

-cheap ($25k)
-good power (300+hp/tq)
-great V8 sound
-good looks
-decent handling
-huge aftermarket (customization)
-RWD
-long history in America and racing
-pretty reliable

Don't forget exclusivity. GM won't have an answer to this for another 14 months. Chrylsers answer late in 2008 is limited and expensive.

Geez, Ford may beat Camaro to market with their 2010 Mustang upgrade.

Yeah and the above dialog between you and me proves that there are inflammatory posts on GMI. I won't deny that they are elsewhere..that would be ridiculous of me. However I am willing to bet your definition of inflammatory does not match with mine.

Someone saying they do not like a vehicle is not going to be inflammatory at GMI. Regardless of what brand it is.

Re: NAIAS 08: 2009 Ford Mustang Glass Roof

If you are looking to get a Mustang, then this is a pretty cool option to consider. However, in and of itself, among other auto show news, it is kinda boring outside of the Mustang loyalist. Not that I don't like it, but among the peers, ho-hum.

I thought the stang was getting a redesign this can't competer with the '09 challenger and camaro in terms of looks

Re: NAIAS 08: 2009 Ford Mustang Glass Roof

I'm not quite sure about this. If it's a really hot day and you want to get out of the sun, with a convertable or sunroof, you can close it, you can't on this. And who wants to see a cloudy, rainy day all the time? Yes it looks good, but I just don't think many people will like it after a while.

Re: NAIAS 08: 2009 Ford Mustang Glass Roof

To be honest, i don't see the big deal. It's a new and funky option but the big news will be the facelift of the mustang.
