Re: New Murano revealed early ...

Doesn't look much better IMO, and I hate the current one. Looks like it belongs in the Hyundai stable vs Nissan's.

Re: LAIAS First Look: 2009 Nissan Murano

I dislike Nissans current design theme of the broad, flat border around the wheel openings.

That nose job is interesting. O.K. refinement of the current design theme!

that was my first reaction, but the profile of the new car is 80% carryover from the current one actually.

Re: LAIAS First Look: 2009 Nissan Murano

Definitely looks like a design cast off from Hyundai.

Re: LAIAS First Look: 2009 Nissan Murano

Wow. It looks much worse and much more Korean (poorly executed plus strange looking) and feminine IMO. Then again, from what I've read around here, I'm one of the only people that kinda liked the current one's looks.

I like my '03 Murano. The styling pre-dates the current RAV and anything the Hyundi may be doing now.

Re: LAIAS First Look: 2009 Nissan Murano

Oh man, the Edge is going to continue to eat the Murano's lunch! I really like the current Murano and wished for the best for the new one (Nissan being my favourite japanse brand other than mazda). Is it just me, but doesn't it look smaller than the current one...I am sure that it isnt it just does for some reason? Anyway, good luck Nissan...you're going to need it.

Re: LAIAS First Look: 2009 Nissan Murano

Well that's disappointing. At least the first Murano made a statement with a unique design. This just seems to be a copy of Mazda and Toyota.

Yawn.

Re: LAIAS First Look: 2009 Nissan Murano

Ugh. What's with modern car design's "Look how we can bend our sheetmetal" trend?
