WELL the company does have its Ties to VW design in the past.
Just on CNN: Porsche's sales went up 28% first nine months of 2012, operating profit 23%.
- Angus YoungI'm sick and tired of people saying that we put out 11 albums that sound exactly the same. In fact, we've put out 12 albums that sound exactly the same.
Interview with Jim Farber (February 27, 2000). "Pluggin' into AC/DC: Longtime rockers stay current with new 'Stiff Upper Lip'". New York Daily News.
strange things are afoot at the circle k.
^^ Reminds me of the quote from David Lee Roth when asked why he likes AC/DC (with whom Van Halen toured in their very early days):
(Paraphrased)
Interviewer: It's like they (AC/DC) keep re-releasing the same song over and over...
DLR: Yeah, but it's a really good song!
Same goes for Porsche...

Its nice, it for sure looks a bit more 'exotic' than the last gen, but as others have said, nothing really too new there.
Every time I see a Porsche I cant help but think glorified VW Beetle.
That's Silicon Valley innovation.
Cayman is a good car for a daughter in college; I prefer the 911
For the last 40 years the Porsche design staff has used a total of three seperate sheets of paper to design all the bodies.
Chalk me up as a yawn.
