I don't know which is worse. BMW's beginning to look like Lexus, or Lexus beginning to look like BMW's. Either way, this new 7 looks so much like the LS in profile.

Actually, to me anyway, what is worse is GM still has nothing to compete with either!

Or the new Acura lights, they are similar.

Re: Insideline: 2008 Paris Auto Show Coverage

Wow what a bunch of mediocre blandness. 80% of these either look like a Lexus/Toyota or BMW or a box on wheels. VW even managed to ruin the Rabbit/Golf with a plain slab sided profile that reminds me of a Puking ladybug (AKA Yaris coupe). We are truly living in a global dull world where it's virtually impossible to tell one car apart from another without looking at the badge or grille. It's a good thing GM still has some interesting designs left.

It always has. Little by little it's starting to look less weird.

The new 7-Series and Chevrolet Cruze appear to share tail lamp designs. BMW will not be happy with GM.

So they're still saying that Saturn gets the Insignia 2010-11? Is this sloppy reporting?

I think the 7 is looking better. I see that Bangle wasn't the lead designer, is that because Beemer-philes have a fatwa on his head?
