Re: GMT-900's: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Photos
Wow. This new Tahoe is incredible! The syling is just unreal, I think it appeals to every kind of customer. It's bold, yet refined. It's agressive yet not offensive. And to boot, it's expensive looking without looking like an old persons SUV. I think whoever worked on the styling of this new Tahoe deserves a lot of recognition.
The interior looks really high quality and although we don't have any really high res photos of the interior yet, it still looks as though everything is tight and well put together. Bring on the tech specs!

Re: GMT-900's: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Photos
The interior is a HUGE improvement. Overall looks great.
The only thing I can fault is the rear quarter panel has a sort of tumblehome roundishness going on that looks too much like the old SUV (even if it is completely new). I also like Chevy's chrome bar, and I hope that it it an option on the grille. Only elements I don't like (this is nitpicking, not a big deal): ![]() Last edited by Ming : 09-20-2005 at 09:54 AM. |

Re: GMT-900's: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Photos
As the happy owner of a 2003 Tahoe, I have one problem and one question so far with the info that has been released.
Problem : No fold flat rear seats ??? BAD MOVE GM. Question : We were told there would be a console shifter option, will that still come ? I like the advancements they have made to update this vehicle and I am very excited to see more information as it becomes available, and even more excited for Suburban infomation. The rear view puzzles me, I think it resembles to many other vehicles (Uplander / Trailblazer / Grand Cherokee) to really look good own, but maybe that may change once I see it in person. Overall, nice job GM, interior looks fantastic and thank you for finally getting rid of the big obnoxious chrome bumpers..... Looks good so far. |

Re: GMT-900's: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Photos
when are we getting the hi-res photos? and when are we going to get to see the specs? sorry I'm getting impatient. Oh and I bet the Z71 package will be nice and rumored to have BGF AT KO tires as well. Would love to see that

Looks ok but i like the current version better, the upcoming expedition/espedition interior will look better, just look at the explorer's interior. Interior look to much like an impala for my taste but's it a nice vehicle none the less. Just like the old one better.

Re: GMT-900's: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Photos
The interior looks REALLY high-quality, that's great! It's a bit too car-like, IMHO...
But the exterior... I'm glad to see most people here like it (that's a good sign for GM, which needs it), but I think it's blah and unimaginative. It just looks like exactly every other SUV. Luckily, the GMC version's front end is probably going to be better-looking... To see the glass half-full instead of half-empty, I have to say that I much prefer something bland and conservative like this Tahoe to something innovative but flat-out UGLY like most recent truck/SUV intros (new Durango, new Dakota, new Tacoma, new Commander, etc.) Plus, that kind of vehicle will sell on powertrain merits too, not only appearance. I guess it can afford to be bland since I'm confident the engines won't disappoint us. |

Re: GMT-900's: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Photos
The dash is pretty nice. And the exterior is very well finished.
Is it me, or does the driver's right leg seeem like it would be squished by the console/tranny tunnel? And I don't understand the third row. It's not only cramped, but it doesn't fold flat. The Expedition and Navigator have had that since '03, and the Durango since 1998. I wonder if the third row is a result of the development rush.
