Good question. The Escalade is the one I wanted to see the most.

I have added high-resolution versions of a few of the images.

Sobe, I believe we have discussed you doing things like this in the past.

This thread will be large enough without you arguing that the Expedition is better and what not.

One problem...we still have to wait for the Silverado. But, after looking at this awesome vehicle, I am not at all worried.

(Seems like you have this problem alot ).
Glad to have you back!!

I don't see the little clock . . .

. . . but that would certainly would be a nice touch. . . same as in the current Escalade you know, but on a much better location I would hope.

Enough embarrasement for a day

Seriously, the Yukon is being shown on Oct 5 and the Escalade later in November. The journalists are not allowed to show anything until then.

Nothing short of pictures and specs is available yet. I'm confident that you haven't driven it, and haven't seen any reviews. How are you already confident that it will be the best full-size SUV?

Good power (doesn't look like it will surpass either the Armada or the 5.7-liter Durango for acceleration), a nice interior, and probably good ride and handling for a jumbo-ute. The third row seat appears pathetically undersized once again, but I'm still waiting for at least a better picture.

What about that do you think makes the car the all-out best large SUV? I'd say the Durango will probably continue to carry that title.

Re: GMT-900's: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Photos

After seeing the interior, I think GM can consider the new Expedition 'irrelevent'. This vehicle definitely outclasses the 'updated' Expedition. And considering the profitability of this market, GM will probably earn its investment back despite the dwindling market. It will at least dominate the market for itself a little longer.

Still, the Expedition will probably be a much improved vehicle that will still have an IRS, providing better backseat room for both versions. Not to mention the IRS provides much better stability in vehicles with a high center of gravity. Ford is very comited to safety and their investment in IRS is a means to do that, even if very few shoppers care about it.

I didn't mention Expedition until bz4 did it. I did say that I liked the interior but thought that the exterior was a failure. So before you reprehend me in public, I would respectfuly advice you to revisit my posts in this thread.

And as I have said many times, if anyone here is going to bash Ford products they will hear (or rather read from me)

LOL, I thought that pic of the 500 interior showed earlyer was the Expedition. My bad. Why was it next to the Tahoe's interior? Anyways now that I see the Expedition's interior I take back my statement about it being car like. Now I think it's just ugly and overbearing. It's just so big and flat. Looks like something out of an old panel van.

And what do you mean by embarrasement? Are you suggesting that the Tahoe is an embarrasment? If so then you just lost your credibility. Even if you don't like it you can't deny that it is best in class and a great move by GM.

If you want to compare the Tahoe and Expedition, you are more than welcomed to create a thread in one of the discussion forums.

I was not aware the Durango was best anything. And how will 355hp not surpass anything. As for acceleration, when's the last time you saw someone race their SUVs. I have not driven it but judging by what I read here I see that the Tahoe has all it needs to out class everything. I'm far to lazy to list every reason why I think this but if you want to know go back and read the info on it. Then you'll understand.

high-res pictures looks awesome! The GM emblem looks good lined up with the model name. Fit and finish looks amazing inside and out! This design has grown on me amazingly fast. And to think the Yukon and Escalade are going to be as much differentiated as they are going to be. I'm even more excited then I was yesterday!
