GM, use the Invicta name!!

Invicta (or Regal) = good.
LaCrosse = very bad.

But the button is all wrong. It's made of hard plastic. It should be leather. And where's the chrome?

Re: Beijing: Buick Invicta Concept revealed

It looks very promising.

I would have loved to see the venti-ports on the side of the hood where it tapers into the fender instead of on top of the hood. It just looks odd.

Re: Here's the new Buick!

Here's what I see here that's of interest: they're using a slick flush mount door pillar design that allows for a smooth, uninterrupted flow of glass down the side of the car. It's beautiful. Could really set this car apart if they can do it.

They showed this same design on the Cadillac Provoq concept. And looking at it, it appeared very neatly worked out. So neatly that maybe it was production-ready. Maybe. OK, so I'm an optimist. But it didn't look strictly like show car stuff, and I examined it closely when they had the door of the concept Provoq open.

This looks HOT, better than the Opel Insignia! Though comparing this style to Lexus is an insult. Lexus cars are generally derivative and boring. This stands out!

Yeah, this car oozes sexuality (something a Buick hasn't done in years), not masturbation (to French Canadians).

Re: Beijing: Buick Invicta Concept revealed

I don't like it, it doesn't look original at all, it looks like a Chinese car, it looks like a poor carbon copy of the BMW 5-series, I also see the LS460 in it.

Re: Beijing: Buick Invicta Concept revealed

I love the way you guys go on about copying by the Chinese. Who named it Invicta -thats an old brand of car. I am not sure but this is my idea of what an Invicta should look like
http://www.ccar.com.au/html/auctions/auctionfeb07.htm
this particular eample is one of the nicest restored vehicles I have ever seen. Not over restored and it just looks delightful in the metal. I have seen it quite a few times up close as it was having some painting work done where i was getting a car repaired.

That's your idea of a nice car? I really really don't understand the Chinese market.
