So cool! Thanks man! I love that they ended up using this body style later on, even if they haven't put the drivetrain into production. I didn't know the term 'hybrid' was being used back as far as 1993.

Ok, now, 1993? Pre-Ford?
Isn't this embarrassing? They were working on this (and driving one) in 1993 and we still don't have these on the road? I think thats the real story here. One comical comment about the advanced lead acid batteries in 5 years instead of NiCad.

If I heard that correctly, this would outperform the Volt way back in 1993! I agree....nice to see how its styling migrated to their production cars.

Sounds like its more eflex as they said the turbine just recharges the battery...but 0-60 in 20 seconds...yikes... but 1993 what the hell have they been doing for 15 years?
