So cool! Thanks man! I love that they ended up using this body style later on, even if they haven't put the drivetrain into production. I didn't know the term 'hybrid' was being used back as far as 1993.

50-60 miles on battery alone... the volt should be able to do that

Isn't this embarrassing?
They were working on this (and driving one) in 1993 and we still don't have these on the road?
I think thats the real story here.
One comical comment about the advanced lead acid batteries in 5 years instead of NiCad.

If I heard that correctly, this would outperform the Volt way back in 1993! I agree....nice to see how its styling migrated to their production cars.

Sounds like its more eflex as they said the turbine just recharges the battery...but 0-60 in 20 seconds...yikes... but 1993 what the hell have they been doing for 15 years?
