Nice pictures - really enjoy them. Keep em coming.

As for comments -

The BMW looks to be very 328-ish, I might even hazard a guess at it being a coachbuilt 328, coachbuilders being the name in the photos - Wiesel. that's the only explanation I can come up with - it does look to be around 328 age and it certainly resembles it in a few ways.

Mercedes 220 Coupé - lovely lovely car, reading my dad's diary a few years back I recall reading about him picking up his newest car, a 220, and later describing to me after I'd asked what happened to it, how it got blown to buggery by the IRA. Sad - and such a well-proportioned car.

Bravada, I'm surprised you haven't pounced on the slightest bit of the limelight the Wartburg has been given aswell - disappointing.

Are you sure you mean the 220 Coupe? It's more of a Joy Fleming than Marlena Dietrich to me...

I like it, besides I believe most Mercs of this generation are extinct (if there ever were any) so its always a joy to see one.

As for the Wartburg - a 313 Sport would be nice but I'm less sure of the boggo ones.

Thanks Tom.

A guy on another forum said that this BMW is definitely a 328 with an added coachbodywork by Graber, a Swiss firm that apparently did these sort of things in the 1930s.

The IRA blew up that Benz 220!?

Now that's for sure - though I somehow feel that there is more chance of a Mercedes surviving than most other makes (at least "popular" makes).
