***Taufkirchner Classic Car Show 2007 (Part 2)***
Part II
Triumph TR5 ![]() An extremely old Chrysler sedan! 1927 Chrysler Type 52 (according to the info) with 45-horsepower. Damn! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Classic laye 1980s Porsche Carrera. I love these. They're hot. ![]() ![]() 1968 Glas 1600 GT, powered by a 1.6-l 4-cylinder engine with 105-horsepower. 1,256 units were made of the 1600 GT. The owner told me that this car in a "junk state" and he himself restored it between 2002-2005. Looks superb! If you're wondering what the hell a BMW badge is doing on the hood, Glas went bankrupt in the late 1960s and was bought out by BMW. Some of their products were then sold as BMW's with a BMW badge. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Opel Kadett GT/E ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This reads: "THE BEST WHORE IN THE CAMP" ![]() ![]() Corvette Stingray. I got more pictures of this baby, expect them later. ![]() ![]() ![]() Porsche 912T Targa ![]() ![]() Volkswagen Beetle Convertible ![]() ![]() Opel Blitz Firetruck "Kommandowagen" ![]() Ford Taunus ![]() ![]() Mercedes-Benz W115 240D "Diesel" (more pics later) ![]() NSU Spider ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last car of this thread, a Mercedes-Benz 280E W123. The W123 is my favorite Mercedes-Benz ever. Give me a 55-hp 200D or a gas-guzzling 280E, I don't care, I'd take any of them! ![]() ![]() |

For a moment I thought the car next to the Porsche was a Chrysler 2-litre, but it seems it's just a Commodore... Ever came accross the 160/180/2-litre, btw?

Oh well, they were quite similar back then - and neither of them particularly exciting...
What's a Chrysler 180? I guess of all people, you should know! ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_180 |
