Saw a prototype Audi in Florida (sorry, no pics)
Yesterday, I was driving on I-75 in Florida and on the other side of the freeway, I saw a prototype Audi SUV. However, because the Audi was going in opposite direction, I couldn't get a picture of it.

That's it. When I first saw it, I thought "whoa, this looks like a warped Q7" and I saw it was significantly smaller. Looks about the size of a Ford Escape.

Re: Saw a prototype Audi in Florida (sorry, no pics)
Today at the MacDill Air Show here in Tampa I saw my first Q-7 in the parking lot....looks great BUT I was surprised how big and hulking it is, on the order of the Enclave. I also saw my first G-8 (boy I miss "Grand Prix") and it struck me as bland and dated and derivative as it looks to me in pics. The friend with me who drives an Infiniti Q-45 was not impressed by it at all but really liked the Audi. Heaven help us if the next Impala/Caprice is a Holden/G-8 with a Chevy nose clip. And to think that Grand Prix and Impala were design leaders when I was a kid in the 60's!
