Rendering: 2011 BMW 6

http://carversation.com/2008/04/23/p...pe-and-cabrio/

looks like it borrowed a lot of design cues from the CS concept.

It'll be very nice if it ends up looking like that.

As Chris Bangle said; "I want people to go up to these cars, look at them, some even secretly touch them. That's the kind of reaction I want"

What an amazing look!!! Very sleek. Very modern. Very sporty. Very BMW.
CTS Coupe looks to have a formidable challenger.

Looks great....that domed bulge in the hood is a nice touch...denotes power in a sculptural way.

Re: Rendering: 2011 BMW 6

yum. Much better than the current IMO. While I like the idea of the 6, the styling of it just seems a little akward. It does look better in person, but it still doesn't leave me wanting one.

This however, would leave me drooling every time I saw one pass by!

Re: Rendering: 2011 BMW 6

I'm still not fond of those style rear ends.

The front isn't bad, and has that menacing look I prefer in cars. However, it reminds me a lot of a manta ray for some reason.

Much better than recent BMWs, to be sure. A welcome change. Perhaps in person it'll be more impressive.

Re: Rendering: 2011 BMW 6

I don't like the current 6-series much. I'm more of an M5 man, myself. This one is a bit better, but the design is too busy, I don't like it much either. The nose is better on this one and the overall shape is better, without those bulbous hips, but I'm just not digging it. I do like the new 7-series renderings and I hope the 5-series looks more like that, than this.

Re: Rendering: 2011 BMW 6

Sorry, I got ago against most of the group here and say that thing is ugly. I do not like it at all. I just think there are so many better looking cars than that. I would much prefer the Maserati GranTurismo to that.

However, at least they went for a bold look rather than down the middle. I much prefer designs that are polarizing. This one just doesn't do it for me.

Just my two cents.

Re: Rendering: 2011 BMW 6

the rearend is nice eough looking, but what happened to the front? the headlights look retarded, along with their twin port holes-just looks kinda wacked out to me. and i'm not sure that i like the dual pod on the dash.
