The kiddos from Stuttgart have something special in mind for the Bologna Auto Show. Unlike some automakers we could think of, Porsche doesn't come out with special editions every other day so it's kind of special when they do. Inspired by Porsche's victory at the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring, the Boxster RS 60 Spyder Limited Edition pays homage to the winning Type 718 RS in a number of ways. The Silver Metallic paint and Carrera Red interior is your most obvious hint, unless you're sitting in the passenger seat and you notice the plaque on the dash. You might also notice the 19-inch SportDesign alloy wheels and a unique front spoiler. Internally, the modified Boxster gets a new exhaust with unique dual tailpipes that boost the output of the flat-six to 303 horsepower. Porsche's Active Suspension Management is included and will help you fling all that extra style around the track (or country club). Fittingly, just 1,960 of these cars will be available at a price of around $78,000. Press release after the jump
