Panamera-worst looking Porshce ever?

Found this while browsing, pics of the Panamera - OMG I think this looks worse even than their SUV (I know many thought it was not possible!).
You need therapy if you buy one of these. Guess you can't buy good taste. Porsche stick to what you know!! Not a patch on the Aston Rapide concept .

Re: Panamera-worst looking Porshce ever?

It looks like a Porsche sedan, which of course is something people aren't used to.

I think Porsche has done worse in the past (aesthetically).

Re: Panamera-worst looking Porshce ever?

The thing is that this is an utterly pointless vehicle. Why would anyone buy that over one of these:

I agree. That thing is hideous, and their best seller.

Filed under the wow girly men in the U.S. will buy anything with 4 doors because they can get it past the boss. It will probably be a big seller just like the, even uglier, Cayenne.

I still don't think that it can be judged entirely. Almost every body panel Still has cladding over it. Sure, it is a little less bulbous than the previous cladding, but still, we still aren't looking at the final sheet metal...

Re: Panamera-worst looking Porshce ever?

Porsche's styling themes in general are old and tired. I know some will say "timeless" but I really think they need to evolve beyond the same old soft contours and organic shapes. Aesthetically, there isn't a Porsche available at any price that interests me.

I have to agree with you, I am not the biggest fan of Porshe's styling either... I would love to see something different.
