Hmmm... B-Class looks to be a bit larger than it should be.

The CLS looks much better than the current model at least for what is in the pictures.

Merc is continuing to make an error with the B and the R. Merc should not offer a B class model. The R much like the old SRX is a good driving but very odd looking crossover.

With the camo the B-Class looks like a Matrix, or a Scion xB/xD

Funny, you can write huge posts about all the things that Cadillac or Saab have done wrong with less pictures and those with much worse quality. Yet you post that much when it is Mercedes?

You are sitting there arguing that any FWD vehicle for Cadillac ruins the company's luxury image, yet Mercedes is coming out with something that looks like a Vibe.

Laughable.

The B-class looks very interesting in camo. I really like the look of the current B-class but the new one in the pictures doesn't look to be very attractive. Maybe it will look better with the camo removed???
It looks like it has a lot more headroom than the current version.

I'd love to see a bluetec AWD version of the B-class

Re: Next Merc CLS exposed and R class facelift naked

I prefer the styling of my current 2009 CLS against the prototype shown. However I do understand that because this model is based upon the "E" class that has been recently introduced. I can see the proportions differentiation which is welcomed. I criticized the claustrophobic feeling of the side windows and the less than abundant rear headroom. Those areas appear to be addressed according to the pictures. MB does listen to their clients, and follow through with upgrades.

My replacement timetable ends December 2010, right now I have the E-Coupe/Convertible or Cadillac CTS Coupe as possibles. However as everything is still some time off, we'll wait and see what the market offers.
