Gotta love the 2000-2003 Ford Taurus grill on it.

Jaguar is in alot of trouble and needs help quick, what better way then to platform share. Like Mercury, I think if/when Jaguar sales pick up, you'll see original models on the way, have to give it to Ford to fix problems rather quickly with all their new vehicles and lines.

Is the XK platform sharing with the DB9??? I just thought they looked the same because they had the same designer.

I would much rather have Ford leave Aston alone. The cars are handmade and take a year for delivery (so my buddy says). In either case, they are exceptionally crafted cars!! Not to say Jaguar's aren't crafted, but transferring a handmade car to a mass produced one for the XK is not without disadvantages.

Really sad to see Jaguar in trouble. Those new XJ's are very nice.
